Successful 10th Subcommittee Meeting on Air-Coupled Ultrasonic Testing by DGZfP

Yesterday, the 10th meeting of the Air-Coupled Ultrasonic Testing Subcommittee of „DGZfP“ took place at SONOTEC GmbH. Our employee Martin Fuchs, along with Dr. Ralf Steinhausen, expertly represented Chairman Mate Gaal, who was absent due to illness.

The day began with greetings and an agenda review. We introduced ourselves as hosts and discussed ongoing work, particularly the Guideline for Air-Coupled Ultrasonic Testing.

Important progress and challenges were discussed during the deliberations on US 08 and US 08 E Guidelines. The exchange of experiences in application was particularly insightful. During the subsequent tour of the SONOTEC headquarters, participants had the opportunity to visit the modern manufacturing facilities where advanced ultrasonic transducers are produced.

The informal pre-event created a relaxed atmosphere for informal conversations and strengthened our collaboration. We would like to thank all participants and look forward to continuing our work and achieving common successes in the future!

Martin Fuchs summarized: “A day filled with knowledge, inspiration, and collaboration at SONOTEC – here, together, we shape the future of ultrasonic testing.”
