SONOTEC as exhibitor at cardiology conference in Leipzig

From November 14 to 16, 2025, high-tech and innovative cardiac medicine will be the focus of the 54th International Annual Meeting of the German Society for Perfusiology and Technical Medicine (DGPTM) and the 17th Focus Conference of the German Society for Thoracic, Cardiac, and Vascular Surgery (DGTHG). At the conference in the Leipzig Congress Center, SONOTEC will present its comprehensive portfolio of non-invasive flow bubble sensors, air bubble detectors, and blood leak detectors to interested medical professionals.
Under the headline “Fit for Future,” the 54th International Annual Meeting of the DGPTM and the 17th Focus Conference of the DGTHG will be held at the Leipzig Congress Center from November 14 to 16. Experts from the fields of perfusiology, cardiac surgery, pediatric cardiology, rhythmology, anesthesia, cardiology, and intensive care medicine will discuss current developments, the latest technologies, and case studies in cardiac medicine. At booth #2 in the exhibition area, ultrasound specialist SONOTEC will showcase non-invasive sensors for medical technology—especially for use in life-support systems.
“For us, the symposium is an excellent opportunity to talk to cardiac and perfusion technicians, exchange experiences, and discuss future requirements. We look forward to numerous discussions and practical insights from which we can get valuable information for our product development and strategy,” reports Felix Kaczmarek, Product Manager for medical technology at SONOTEC.
The leading provider of ultrasound measurement technology is presenting the SONOFLOW CO.56 Pro V2.0 flow-bubble sensor as a highlight. The contactless sensor was specially developed for use in medical devices such as extracorporeal life support systems (ECLS). It combines high-precision flow measurement with reliable air bubble detection in a single, compact device. Thanks to its multi-level safety concept, the hybrid sensor significantly improves patient safety. The free-hanging sensor is suitable for applications in operating rooms, intensive care units, and mobile emergency medicine.
SONOTEC also demonstrates its wide range of medical air bubble detectors from the SONOCHECK ABD series and the BLD03 blood leak detectors. All medical sensors meet the high requirements for components implemented into medical devices, e.g., for dialysis or even home dialysis.
At booth #2, SONOTEC experts will be available for individual meetings and will present the broad portfolio of non-invasive sensor solutions that can be optimally integrated into medical devices.>
