Our colleagues from sales and marketing visited the NDE in Nuclear in Sheffield and gained many new insights. They attended presentations on the topic “Advanced Manufacturing and NDE”, where both institutes/universities, and companies discussed requirements in the power plant sector as well as new testing methods. Afterwards, there was enough time to exchange ideas with our customers in this field.
After the lunch break, the organizer arranged a tour of the NAMRC, the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, where the exhibitors’ booths were set up, allowing for even closer interaction. The factory tour of NAMRC and the typical British BBQ rounded off the day at the trade fair.
There’s nothing like personal communication with customers and other companies, where we could discover their challenges and requirements. We were able to use and distribute our specially designed flyer at the fair during our conversations.
