From September 2 to 4, 2026, SEMICON Taiwan will take place in Taipei, Taiwan. SONOTEC will be presenting its ultrasonic sensors for non-contact flow measurement for the first time at one of the world’s largest semiconductor trade shows.
As part of the German Pavilion, SONOTEC will exhibit at SEMICON Taiwan for the first time. From September 2 to 4, 2026, the ultrasonic specialist will showcase its highly precise SEMIFLOW flow sensors and air bubble detectors at the joint booth #K2760. Designed for the demanding requirements of semiconductor manufacturing, the sensors enable reliable, non-contact liquid flow monitoring throughout the fab.

Real-time monitoring of flow rates in wet processes helps maintain critical process parameters, thereby ensuring stable production, product quality, and yield. The SEMIFLOW sensor series reliably measures abrasive, adhesive, corrosive, and high-purity liquids in industry-specific rigid plastic pipes and lines. The ultrasonic technology is wear-free and operates without media contact, eliminating the need for maintenance as well as the risk of contamination or leaks. The sensors can be used to monitor transfer, distribution, and filling processes on the production line.
Thanks to the compact housing with integrated electronics, the sensors can be installed in limited spaces and can be easily integrated into existing process architectures. Their low power consumption contributes to efficient operation and supports sustainability programs in semiconductor fabs. SEMIFLOW sensors are available in various sizes and cover a wide range of diameters for PFA, PTFE, and other hard plastic tubing.
For applications in potentially explosive environments, SONOTEC offers the SEMIFLOW CO.66 PI Ex1 series. These intrinsically safe ultrasonic flow meters are designed for operation in Zone 1 production areas in accordance with ATEX/IECEx requirements. They provide protection against explosion hazards caused by gases and vapors in Gas Group IIB with the equipment protection level (EPL) “Gb.”
