The new year has just begun, and our goals are clear. We're fully aligned and ready to move forward - with Asia in focus.

As an ultrasound specialist, we aim to continue our successful growth – especially in the Asian markets. To support this ambition, Lutz Schmidt, our International Sales Manager for Asia, has started his journey on January 21, 2026. 

Over the next couple of months, he will be based in Taipei, Taiwan, working closely with customers to strengthen existing business and building new partnerships across the region.

Sebastian Bürkmann, Business Unit Director Non-Invasive Fluid Monitoring at SONOTEC GmbH, highlights the importance of this step:

The Asian markets are of strategic importance to us. We already see strong success with our unique sensor architecture of ultrasonic clamp-on flow meters and air bubble detectors in the semiconductor, medical, and biotech/pharma industries. To further strengthen our position and serve our customers locally, we’re excited to have Lutz Schmidt as representative in Asia, combining local presence with global expertise.
