SONOTEC GmbH is proud to announce the successful participation of our colleagues Mark Achtenberg and Michael Ihle at the EFNDT Seminar Railway in NDT 2025, held in Linz, Austria, from March 10th to 12th.
The event brought together 67 participants from 9 countries and featured 17 insightful presentations, focusing on non-destructive testing in the railway industry.
Mark Achtenberg delivered a presentation on March 12th, sharing valuable insights into the latest advancements in ultrasonic testing for rail applications.
The seminar provided an excellent platform for intensive technical exchange and networking. During the breaks, participants seized the opportunity to engage in discussions on current challenges and innovations in the industry.

Marketing Manager Ultrasonic Transducers
Steffi LorenzSteffi Lorenz has been working as a Marketing Manager at SONOTEC GmbH in Halle (Saale) since 2022, where she is responsible for technical B2B marketing within the Ultrasound Transducer business unit. In this role, she develops and coordinates marketing and communication activities for innovative ultrasound solutions – ranging from content and product marketing to campaign planning and close collaboration with sales and product management.
With many years of experience in B2B marketing and strategic communication of technical products, she is skilled at translating complex topics into clear and audience-focused messaging.
