The SONAPHONE RD ultrasonic detector provides quick and easy detection of minor leaks and seal failures. The mobile handheld device locates leaks in compressed air lines and in steam, gas and vacuum systems both safely and precisely. The SONAPHONE RD can also be used to inspect tanks, pipes, valves, gates and steam traps.

In addition, this reasonably priced unit allows reliable early detection of damage to plain and roller bearings as well as electrical insulation failure caused by partial discharge.

The SONAPHONE RD has an optionally backlit digital display which indicates the ultrasound level. This is particularly useful for comparative tests and regular maintenance checks.

The SONAPHONE T ultrasonic transmitter is used alongside the SONAPHONE RD to detect leaks in non-pressurised systems: The transmitted signals escape through the leak points and are located by the SONAPHONE RD.

The SONOSPOT parabolic probe is used to detect leaks and partial discharges over long distances.
